This customer is from Malaysia and according to the customer, they are in the metal manufacturing industry. Due to the high weight of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products, they have a high demand for cranes. The customer contacted us in 2025, they wanted to purchase a crane for the transportation of heavy raw materials and large finished components. Cranes are needed to transport sheet metal, beams, and bars from storage areas to processing and manufacturing areas. In addition to this, semi-finished or finished parts are sent to welding stations, machining areas for inspection or assembly.
Lifting Solution We Offer
Every production facility requires reliable and efficient lifting equipment to keep operations safe and productive. For industries that handle heavy materials such as steel plates, welded components, or large assemblies, choosing the right crane system is critical. The solution must not only provide enough lifting capacity but also ensure long-term durability, safety, and cost efficiency. In light of this, we suggest the 25-ton QDX series double girder bridge crane, which is intended to satisfy exacting industrial standards and provide room for expansion.

Why choose a QDX double girder bridge crane?
We propose a 25-ton QDX series double girder bridge crane as the ideal lifting solution for this project.
1. Capacity matching
The 25-ton lifting capacity is well suited to the customer's needs. It can safely handle bundled raw steel plates, heavy welded assemblies, and large structural parts. The extra capacity margin above typical load sizes also helps prevent overloading, which protects both the equipment and the operators.
2. Double girder design
Compared to single girder cranes, the double girder structure provides greater strength and stability. It minimizes deflection when handling heavy loads, increases durability, and allows a higher lifting height under the same workshop conditions. This is especially valuable in workshops with limited headroom but where tall assemblies need to be lifted.
3. Advanced design
The QDX series use a modular design, which makes installation, upgrades, and maintenance simpler. The hoist and drive systems are energy-efficient and equipped with frequency inverters for smooth control. Safety, precision, and ease of operation are central to its design. Features such as remote operation, variable speeds, and the possibility of integrating automation functions allow for lower operating costs and higher productivity over time.

Crane Design We Provided: 25-Ton QDX Bridge Crane
For this project, we supplied a 25-ton bridge crane tailored to the customer's workshop. The design was chosen to balance high lifting capacity with smooth, precise operation and long service life. Every component was engineered to meet both performance and safety requirements while fitting seamlessly into the client's building layout. Below is a breakdown of the main design features.
1. Main Structure
The crane uses two robust welded box girders, which span the workshop runways. This double girder design ensures excellent rigidity and minimal deflection even under full 25-ton loads. Compared with single girder cranes, the double girder configuration provides higher strength, greater stability, and allows for higher lifting heights. At both ends, the girders are supported by end carriages (bridge ends). These include forged steel wheels, precision-machined axles, and heavy-duty bearings. The design spreads loads evenly across the runway rails, reducing wear on both the crane and the building structure. The smooth movement of the end carriages guarantees efficient and stable operation, even over long spans.
2. Trolley & Hoisting Unit
The crane is equipped with a compact wire rope hoist of modular design. The NR wire rope hoist is a compact, heavy-duty lifting unit designed to pair with QDX double-girder overhead cranes to deliver reliable, precise material handling. It uses a robust motor and gearbox to give steady, smooth lifts and strong braking for safe load holding. The hoist's modular design makes installation and routine maintenance straightforward. Built-in safety devices — such as upper/lower limit switches, emergency stop, and overload protection — help protect both operators and equipment. Optional features like variable-speed control and multiple lifting speeds let you match performance to the job. In short, the NR hoist adds accuracy, durability, and safer operation to QDX double-girder crane systems, improving productivity in industrial settings.
The hook block is engineered for high-capacity lifting and includes safety latches. Depending on the customer's application, additional attachments such as a spreader beam or lifting beam can be integrated to handle special loads like large steel plates, beams, or bundles. This flexibility makes the crane suitable for a wide range of industrial operations.
3. Control, Safety, and Auxiliary Features
For bridge travel, the drives use frequency control systems. These provide soft starting and stopping, which minimizes mechanical stress on the crane structure and reduces wear over time. The crane includes multiple safety devices. Limit switches control the maximum and minimum lifting heights, as well as the travel limits for the trolley and bridge, preventing over-travel accidents. Overload protection systems monitor the lifted weight and automatically stop operations if the safe working load is exceeded. For workshops requiring high precision, optional anti-sway technology can be added. This stabilizes the load during movement, making operations safer and more efficient. In addition, the system can be equipped with remote diagnostics and load cycle monitoring, allowing operators and maintenance teams to track crane usage and plan timely inspections.
4. Integration with Workshop Layout and Structure
The crane was carefully matched to the client's building design. The runway rails, such as P43 or QU70 type, were selected according to span, load, and building support capacity. By using a double girder design, we reduced headroom requirements, enabling the crane to achieve maximum lifting height within the workshop's limited space. All clearance factors—including hook approach, end approach, and beam deflection—were calculated to ensure smooth and safe operations. The power supply system was also designed to fit the layout of the workshop. Options like cable festoon systems or conductor lines were chosen to prevent interference with existing production equipment and to ensure a reliable power supply for long-term operation.
